MICHAEL CLARKSTON

Michael, with over 20 years of experience as an AEA Stage Manager, Producer, and General Manager, recently served as producer and stage manager for our gala. His expertise includes managing multi-million dollar Broadway productions, corporate events, and award ceremonies. Michael's skills in budgeting, grants, and programming will be invaluable as he collaborates with the Dorothy Creative team.

In the nonprofit sector, Michael has significantly contributed to organizations like The Entertainment Community Fund, The PATH Fund, and Broadway Cares, where he later joined as a full-time staff member. As Lead Fundraising Producer, he created dynamic campaigns that engaged supporters and broke fundraising records. His passion for community engagement will benefit the foundation and the Dorothy Dandridge project.

Michael's portfolio includes work on major television events like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Tony Awards, over 15 Broadway productions including Newsies and The Lion King, and large-scale events for corporate clients like Google and MTV.

Michael is a founder of Broadway Makers Marketplace, a unique marketplace for fans to own Broadway memorabilia and crafts.
